I was diagnosed last October. I went to a business meeting out of state for my job and came back sick. After semi getting better, I then got really sick and sent to the hospital. They admitted me and I was there for a couple of weeks. I was put on oxygen and a biopsy was done on my lungs. They said I had stage 4 cervical. I went to an OBGYN the day after I was released from the hospital, and he admitted me to the hospital he worked with which was different than the one I had been in thank goodness and did my first chemo treatment within a couple of days. He said it was uterine or edometrial. I am about to have my 5th chemo treatment and after my 6th we will reassess and go from there.

I am currently taking chemo for the second bout with NH Lymphoma. I had it 5 years ago with CLL. It seems rougher this time. I’ve had one immunotherapy session and two chemo sessions to-date. I am getting another PET scan the middle of this month to determine if I need a different concoction. I’m having symptoms again that I had at the beginning of this recurrence . This time, it is in my lymph nodes everywhere as before, and also in my bones. I guess that’s what scares me. My doctor took two months to start me on chemo, but he appears to be extremely attentive now. I just don’t have much stamina. That’s my truncated story so far. I’m anxious to read about others who have what I have, and be able to ask questions that occur to me.

I received my cancer diagnosis while on the first day of our vacation. I have LCIS of then right breast. I am going in circles trying to get my MRI and "Sentry" scheduled so that my surgeon can review before Mar 15th . There is so much conflicting information about this condition . I am not handling the wait game very well

Update. My husband has stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma. Doctor states the only course of treatment is chemo and immunotherapy. Prognosis is not good.

My cancers have been prostrate, treated with brachytherapy, melanoma, treated with surgery, esophageal cancer, treated with chemo and radiation and numerous squamous cell cancers treated with surgery. I'm I've managed to be an unfortunate "magnet" for cancers. Am only one in my family to ever have any cancer!
On top of everything else have COPD/Emphysema stage 4 and in palliative care. Actually doing exceptionally well. Only use oxygen while exercising or strenuous activities. Go to gym for an hour 3 X's weekly. Will turn 71 this June.

Good morning fellow survivors My name is John and I am from NC I had no idea that I had cancer twice 3 years ago I went to get blood drawn to get my knee replaced and found that my psa was high Stage 3 prostrate cancer and did radiation treatments and have been clear of it 3 years March 9 I also had a blood transfusion (stil have the bad knee lol)
This Feb I went to a doctor about bad headaches She wanted me to get blood drawn Hemoglobin was low again and back to get blood again I was admitted while I received blood again and got set up for a colonostomy and the stomach but had problems drinking the prep Sent home with a doctor apt on the following Tuesday We did an enema and tried to drink more and couldn't During this time I had not pooped and couldn't keep anything down The following Thursday I went back to the ER dehydrated and they gave me another unit of blood and fluids and did another enema (in fact 3) and was transferred that night to a bigger hospital in High Point They did a ct scan and found a mass and then a biopsy and couldn't get pass the mass We decided to have it removed the next day
Saturday it was discovered that they removed a tumor the size of a prune that had gone into the colon wall and 24 lymph nodes (non-cancerous) I wear a bag now and hate it
Chemo is scheduled next Thursday That lasts until June 4 I will have a lemon ball that keeps going thru me 48 hours
I hate cancer It took my wife of almost 5 years with stage 4 brain cancer I beat it once and will beat it this time with God's help God bless everyone and NEVER GIVE UP

I found out in May of 2023, That I have a Glioblastomia. Sucks but you learn to live with it. I was not going down without a fight. So far, Chemo has worked amazingly well and I hope only one more treatment and then just MRI's to keep an eye on it.
