@jas__44 I do this and I highly recommend it. It's very convenient. I've never had a missed delivery or an issue (they have quite an incentive not to mess that up, dealing with people's medicines!) and it's saved me a bit of money. They keep the prescriptions refrigerated during shipping too so I haven't had an issue on that front either. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and it was easy to set up.

@jas__44 Hi, I agree with @nomorenomore . My wife does this and is just so convenient. Especially right now. If your insurance will take it, definitely go for it!

Hello new members, have any of you tried mail-order prescriptions? What do you think? Are there any disadvantages to it, do you think?

Medicare also covers mail-order! I can only really thing of advantages it for it, especially these days. I wonder if what would happen, though if mail service gets reduced at some point during this. I'm sure they have contingency plans in place but it does make you wonder!

Hey everyone, because of this coronavirus stuff, I'm talking with my insurance to get my insulin and other prescriptions through mail-order delivery. Have any of you done this before? Is is reliable? How do they handle the refrigeration?
