Sorry I'm late. I just joined today.
I stopped taking all T2 meds a couple of years ago. I started the diet approach with Dr. Joel Fuhrman's vegetarian approach and my numbers were better on this program. I also lost 30 pounds within a short amount of time. I was on something like 8 meds, and I stopped all of them. My doctor couldn't believe it.
All this stemmed from the fact the meds had me in bed all day, with nothing getting better. I simply couldn't spend the rest of my life in bed spending money.
So I had to respond here and post what I have done. It might be of use to someone. Let me just say I'm not a fan of the results of the medical system here in Ontario. It's been a complete let-down for me.

Well this website is not working properly. I get a notification every 5 minutes. So I'm turning it off.

If you are experiencing side effects or you are not comfortable taking the medication, you should discuss the alternative options with your healthcare provider. For example, your healthcare provider may suggest alternative medications or lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise. Remember, it's always a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider if you're experiencing side effects or if you have any concerns about your medication. They are there to help you and will work with you to find the best treatment plan that works for you.
