How is someone diagnosed accurately for Bipolar? I went to a clinical therapist and she asked me 12 questions. Based on my answers, she said I had Bipolar. I remembered the questions and asked those same questions to 4 people and they all, based on what she told me would be bipolar.

@BrokenPieces
I am the same. I thought it was just me. Thank you for sharing this, now I feel less alone.
I just ruined a relationship with a guy by being too pushy and needy, then I would bitch because he was not meeting my expectations. I hadn't dated in 10 years because I just can't handle relationships.

@Jenny0808 I have been there too, unable to get out of bed and look at anyone. I'm sorry you're going thru this too. I've also been on so many meds that work sometimes and don't work another time. Strangely for the last year I've been more stable than not and I hope you find that too. Bipolar is a very lonely place and I don't think anyone around me understands it either. Be easy on yourself and don't lose hope.

@Cici83 HI Cici, I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well on your current medications. I too have been on many medications and they work for awhile and then lose effectiveness. I am looking into transcranial magnetic stimulation as an adjunct to my medicine. You are correct in saying Bipolar is a very lonely place and I don't think anyone around me understands it either. That's why I'm so grateful there is a forum like this to hear from other people who really understand me! Have a wonderful day!

@raj17201 I'm going on Wednesday to start my first TMS treatment, hopefully it will work but I know it can take several weeks.

@Slakpa07 Hi, I'm now to Carenity, I find depression isn't something that's I can shake off. There are tools I've learned that help manage the symptoms somewhat. If you would like to share information I'm willing.
Not sure if it's easy to contact me through Carenity.

I feel like I have bipolar disorder ... I've experienced child abandonment & the parent I experienced it from went to have other kids so I question myself till this day ... You know was it me...! I tend to cry over little things ... Like my pencil not being sharp 😅😭 or my computer isn't loading. I have nobody to express or talk to about certain things so I hope this helps.

Hi Anaria, I understand what it feels like to cry over everyday little things. What makes you think you're bipolar? I was diagnosed as BP after most of my life being thought to be depressed. I have high anxiety and tend to worry over little things than cry tho. I don't have high manic states, but lower hypomania at times. It's hard to get a good diagnosis, but I hope you can reach out to a good PDoc who can properly diagnose you and get you started on meds to help if you need them. Feel free to message me if you'd like to talk...

Hi friends from a country far away I would like to ask people who suffer from bipolar disorder how they succeed in bearing loneliness, that, unfortunately, is a characteristic of our disease. Thank you
