Add on comment; Do not have covid. Hope not to get it. Chances are high as many of. Our young adults doesn't take it serious and continue to socialize in the community. At least they wear mask. Oh well time will define the end?

I don’t have Covid but my sister died of it on the same day I got my second vaccine. My brother his wife and grandson all had it too. I couldn’t give hugs to them or actually say good bye to my sister. Maybe in 2-3 weeks I’ll be able to give my brother a hug on his birthday!

My adult daughter was infected at her place of employment and then she passed it on to me.. We were both pretty sick but did not need hospitalization. She had a lot of gastro-intestinal issues and I had the upper respiratory issues. It was like the flu on steroids! I came down with it Dec 1 and I only went back to work for like 2 days between Christmas and New Years. I still have problems with my eyes and a constant runny/bloody nose. I can finally smell again!

I haven't had covid but almost all of my family has! Thank God none of them got very sick. Om not afraid of getting it at all. In more afraid I'll never again feel comfortable in this world. I have lost almost every housecleaning client I had, had a partial thyroidectomy 3 weeks ago and just don't want to do anything. Dishes, laundry, etc it can pile up all around me, I don't even care. I just want my life back, whatever that means anyway. I'm reading, meditating, doing breathing exercises, etc just totally bummed out and trapped

To Susan R above? You said in less words pretty much the same thing as I did... I'm really worried. I think now facing the future now that I may be in remission from Hodgkins is more scary than the chemo, the radiation and the sickness. Here's the thing: I knew my enemy for the last 2 years, all's I had to do was my part....show up for treatment, try to eat right, get exercise. How do I get on with it...? How do we get on with it? All's I can think of now is packing my things and heading south where I still have some family. Central Fla. sounds mighty good after another MA. winter. That's the tentative plan but looks like it's firming up. Many states aren't as shut down as tight as MA and CT., these states will likely never recover economically or socially...Fla. more sensible, other states too. Sure we all can still take precautions and should, but the draconian (and illegal/unconstitutional) lockdowns here are far more of a problem than a relatively mild illness. Just ask local business owners who can't feed their families and are burdened with debt.
PS I had essentially NO immune system for 10 months on account of cancer treatment but still went out to shop and make appts. I'm still here. I had no choice. Just a matter of priorities I suppose.

Oh..Just one more thing... Sliding into depression is an awful thing... I feel badly for anyone who has to start their AM with a visit to the package store, their dealer etc. It takes so long to get back! this happened to me some time ago but I did come back. No good to crawl into that warm cocoon of being drunk, just don't last. Here's what's strange. Nobody will reach out to another person when they get sick like this. I don't know why. Nobody on this site will ever correspond with me in a constructive way, I reach out but they'd rather complain and be alone. A few people on other sites have taken the time to speak with me and it's been great.. We can joke but most importantly we keep each other thinking straight..Nice to bounce ideas off someone! I was on this site 9 months ago, nobody will exchange email addresses, ph. #'s nothing. I won't live in fear. If you're a jerk I block you. Anyone here who has the courage to do more than bitch and whine? Won't get you anyplace that's for sure.
