Don’t be scared to get it. First check with your medical professionals to make sure your medications will not be affected by the vaccine. It seems that everyone is having different or no side effects. I had the second dose of the Moderna and had muscle soreness and a headache for a couple of days, but I know people who had no side effects.

I am sorry to hear that Baugher and sorry for your loss. I feel the same about Covid now as I have when it started. I am pretty sure I would survive it but show concern for my family and my neighbors (I live in an old folks home, not a great place to pass that on.) To get back on topic, I would like to say that I feel just fine today. My mental, and physically health have improved greatly during the pandemic, but not because of the pandemic. I find that suddenly people are more supportive towards the mentally ill and I attribute these improvements to the love and support that I find wherever I go now, meaning my family, neighbors, clinicians and of course you fine folks here.

@Courtney_J I noticed that the Covid 9 virus make a person feel 10 times worse than the Flu. I may have had the virus back in March of last year, because I got so sick I thought I was gonna die, but I was not going to the hospital. Black people was dying at an alarming rate. If I was to die with the virus I was gonna take my chances at home and that's what I did.. I quarantine myself in the house for 2 months. I didn't let anyone in my house for 2 months. I had my family members to put what ever I needed on my porch and I would wave to them from my porch while where in their car. I took care of myself with old Grandma remedy and it worked for me.

@Nancy2020 i understand your concern - please get vaccinated - some people have notable immune responses - aches etc but again that is not the virus thoze symptoms are your immune system working - goes away quickly - and people with nothing notable will have a strong immune system toward these vaccines as well 💜

I have been working during the Pandemic as I am a First Responder. My father passed away . I am originally from a rural area. My Dad's funeral was odd because there was no social distancing and limited face mask wearing which was scary. Thank goodness, I had both of my COVID 19 shots early on in December and January. However, neither my daughter or husband had had either shot yet. My brother and is family sat right beside each other as if the Pandemic was not going on. I live in an urban area where face mask and social distancing are mandated, thank goodness. The funeral director asked if I wanted to sit with my brother and his family in a reserved section for family. Then my brother loudly asked me the same thing. I wanted to go under the building and did not want to draw attention. I simply and quietly said, " No ". I am amazed at how many rural folks are not taking COVID 19 serious. I have relatives that continue to live in rural areas. They try to make a political issue out of it as they know that I now live in an urban area. When I encounter this " You can't make me wear a face mask, etc"... I quickly change the subject. This is one of the reasons that I limit my time in rural areas during the pandemic. I do not want to possible share the virus with anyone if I were to be asymptomatic. I have had both shots but continue to wear face masks to keep others safe. I will be so glad when herd immunity is established and the spread of COVID 19 is stopped.
