I am pretty stable, but I do get depressed because i have too much time on my hands. I don't work. My husband makes most of the money and then i get SSDI. I don't have many interest in any hobbies except for picture taking and making photo books. People tell me to volunteer somewhere or find a hobbie. I don't know what is holding me back from taking action in my life. I took my dog to the dog park today but it takes alot to get me there. I wait every day for my husband to get home from work. I am always so excited but when he gets here its not always what i expect. He is busy or tired and tries to spend as much time with me as he can but i have to let him do his thing too because he worked all day. He needs his time alone and space to do his own thing also. I am just mainly bored. Too much time on my hands. Does anybody else go through something similar to this?

Today is a rough day, didn't sleep much the last couple days. We have a new puppy which wakes me up at early hours and my mind has a hard time shutting down at night. I get so tired of having disagreements with my other half. Getting b..at every morning cause he slept like shit. Well neither did I. I want to get in my truck and run...which is bad. We have been together 10 years and both rapidly depression episodes. I just bottle mine up til I explode. Why can't I ever have a normal life or relationship? Blah!!!!

I am in a good place if you are looking at it from the outside, but the inside of my head is a mess...My life is really going well. my business that I have been working on for years is thriving, I just took on a huge long term client that I am very excited about, my marriage is doing great after a supper rough patch for a couple of years, and everything else is good with all things considered this day and age. BUT my anxiety is through the roof, I have been having (I think panic attacks), I am so afraid I'm going to mess everything up. I procrastinate a lot, and am just waiting for the other shoe to drop, to have another manic or depressive episode, or something else to go wrong.

I also struggle with this. I get ideas and always find road blocks especially the depression and anxiety to meet new people but need to so badly.

@Morckster Yes. I struggle with it. I was a vibrant woman with many friends and many activities. Depression has taken that away. I had been stable for 10 + yrs. I don't remember how to combat it. It's all I can do to get by.

@butterfly77. I know exactly what you're talking about. If my husbands outside doing some work. I'll just grab a chair and my coffee and sit and talk to him. He doesn't seem to mind that.

@Classycathy Absolutely! Try the cannabis pens. The come in Sativa (energetic high), Indica (a mellow and relaxing high) or blends. You can read on the box to see what the strain type is so you don’t grab the wrong one. I use Indica during my manic episodes. While it doesn’t completely rid me of the mania, but it definitely helps and gives me some relief. I believe you can buy them online. Our friends usually have them on hand so we get ours that way. Good luck!🍀

This really helps reading all the discussions. It's a daily reminder I'm not the only one hurting and dealing with this condition. Wish ther were more posts to talk on.
